Job Description

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $156,000-$234,000.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What do you get to do in this position?

The Industrial Sales Manager is accountable for leading, planning, staffing, directing, communicating, and overseeing all aspects of an assigned geography and a team of 8-10 Industrial Territory Sales Engineers (iTSE) within the Schneider Electric National Sales Force (NSF). This position reports to the Industrial Regional Sales Manager (iRSM) and covers a portion of the NSF East Region. The candidate must be physically located in the East NSF region.

This position focuses on the Industrial Channel Led transactional business model, executing on the following:

  1. Provide direction, coaching, and development activities for sales staff to achieve sales targets and career growth.
  2. Assess talent and make necessary changes to optimize the team, including talent assessments, resource adjustments, hiring, and onboarding.
  3. Formulate, communicate, and implement strategic and tactical sales plans, providing coaching to ensure successful execution.
  4. Drive engagement with Schneider Electric Distributors to create alignment and growth strategies supporting our Channel Led Industrial Mission (Planning, Training, Inventory, Marketing Programs, Joint Sales Calls).
  5. Foster collaboration between all Schneider Sales Organizations to maximize Industrial coverage.
  6. Track and analyze sales performance, take corrective actions to close gaps, and create monthly forecasts.

  • Recognized as a strong performer with a record of results and organizational growth potential.
  • A four-year degree or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to travel 25%+ as needed.
