The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seeks three clinical psychologists to join the faculty in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. The position involves providing compassionate, evidence-based care with a mission to improve, advance, and innovate behavioral healthcare and foster resilience in patients and communities. The role includes clinical evaluation and assessment, individual and/or group psychotherapy, and requires thorough knowledge of DSM-5 and ICD-10 mental health diagnoses. Candidates will have opportunities to contribute to training, research, and scholarly pursuits, and participate in committees, conferences, and community engagements. The psychologist must practice within established Medical Center standards and policies. Requirements include a Doctoral Degree in Psychology, licensure or license eligibility in Ohio, graduation from an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program with an accredited clinical internship, and licensure in Ohio by appointment time. Preference is given to candidates with academic medical center experience and at least one year of relevant post-doctoral experience. The position supports the tripartite mission of patient care, education, and clinical research, with specialization areas open but with interest in Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Health/Geropsychology, Psychosis, Depression Recovery, Women’s Behavioral Health, and Suicide/Trauma. The start date is August 1, 2025, adjustable to candidate needs.
