Major Duties

• Serves as Supervisor and Chief of the Distribution Logistics Operations Center (DLOC) within the Network Integration Directorate at DLA Distribution Headquarters.
• Serves as the senior specialist and technical advisor for the DLA Distribution Emergency Planning Program, (continued next line)
• which encompasses war and war support planning, domestic emergency planning and response, humanitarian assistance response planning, and Business Contingency Continuity Planning (BCCP).
• Directs the implementation of plans; develops and implements reporting requirements; advises the DLA Distribution Command Team and DLA Distribution HQ Staff on courses of action to take;
• advises the Command Team on plans to implement; and coordinates and reports on the status of plans, actions, and operations in which DLA Distribution is involved.
• Reviews and analyzes raw data and troop movement information from the Global Command Control System (GCCS) to advise the DLA Distribution Command Team and DLA Distribution HQ Staff on anticipated requirements
• and to prepare Distribution Centers to adequately respond to rapid workload shifts due to crises mode implementation.
• Directs a Crisis Action Team (CAT) in the DLOC, interfaces with the DLA Agency Synchronization and Operations Center (ASOC).

Qualification Summary

To qualify for a Supervisory Mobilization Planning Administrator, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Creditable specialized experience includes: - Assisting with the development of new policies and regulations with some guidance, performance of special for higher headquarters, and briefing senior levels of management. - Aides in the conduction of studies and implementation of improvements to programs including policy, programs, and operational plans. - Assists with the development and oversight of the execution of exercises, drills, and workshops. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
